Welcome Panicos James Christofi
"We cannot thank you enough. I came to your CalmBirth course for two main reasons - so that Georgio and I were on the same wavelength in the birth suite and to help me tackle some of the weight I carry from my role as a veterinarian and treating animals in distress in pregnancy and labour."
Hello Cherie,
We just wanted to reach out and let you know about our new addition.
Panicos James (PJ) Christofi entered the world at 4.58pm on Saturday 28/3. He was born at the LGH in the water following a natural, physiological labour after early membrane rupture the morning prior.
Georgio and I wish to thank you for the tools and knowledge your CalmBirth course gave us. Despite early membrane rupture and a suggestion for augmentation of labour I was able to still have the natural birth I had envisioned while feeling informed enough to make the safest decisions for bub and myself.
Georgio was a star birth support person and was able to advocate for me and discuss our birth plan with midwives. Despite a few wavers of confidence as labour progression ebbed and flowed over the course of the day I used visualisation, positive affirmations and turning inwards to bring our boy forth. I got into the birth pool at roughly 2.30pm and within 2.5 hours I was lifting PJ through my legs and onto my chest in what will always be the most surreal and empowering moment of my life thus far.
We cannot thank you enough. I came to your CalmBirth course for two main reasons - so that Georgio and I were on the same wavelength in the birth suite and to help me tackle some of the weight I carry from my role as a veterinarian and treating animals in distress in pregnancy and labour.
Sending you our very best and we look forward to bringing PJ to a morning tea soon.
